An entrepreneur and a seasoned corporate & investment banking executive with a substantial client network in the MENA and Americas regions. Eighteen years’ deal maker experience in high-profile corporate and investment banking roles, both buy-side and sell-side. Qayed over-see execution on investment & M&A deals at Ghaf Capital, a firm to exploit the growth in investment opportunities in the region and work closely with startups, entrepreneurs, and CEOs to create value for their companies by identifying market opportunities and developing strategic goals, and secure future funding. 

 

Mr. Qayed held several high-profile roles at multinational companies in the USA & UAE. Most recently, he was Regional Sales Sr. Director- Global Markets for Standard Chartered Bank, also was Vice President and Senior Investment Adviser to the Group CEO of AAHG – a UAE-based conglomerate involved in M&A, JVs, and raising funds for various projects, including funding the Dubai Outlet Mall and Marvel Studios Theme Park. Before that, he spent six years at Citigroup, where he worked as UAE Head Trader for the Securities- Sales & Trading division. Qayed started his career with Silicon Valley startup in Palo Alto, California, in 2000. 

 

Qayed holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Business from Embry-Riddle University (Florida), and an MBA from Duke University-Fuqua School of Business (North Carolina) USA.

Mr. Ridha is a senior property development executive with national and international experience spanning over 21 years in planning, development, and delivery of Megaprojects. Covering all stages of the real estate development from initiation, design, delivery, and post-delivery. Including the management of stakeholders, business consultants, architects, Engineers, government entities, sales, marketing, legal, designers, contractors, asset managers, and others.

 

Working with several high profile companies in the UAE including Union Properties Dubai International Airport (DCA), Murray & Roberts, EC Harris, Sama Dubai, Al Maabar International Investments, and Eagle Hills and currently with Al Dar Properties, with experience in the full real-estate development cycle. Including negotiating an Investment agreement with the government on PPP projects, carrying out due diligence on the redevelopment of Athens old airport

 

He is responsible for firm-wide management, strategic direction and leads Ghaf Capital's Real Estate and Asset Management sector Advisory.

 

Ridha holds a Bachelor of Architectural Eng. from the University of Colorado, (Boulder Colorado) USA.
